Healthcare Analytics: Logistics

Use a good text editor that can hold a lot of data (e.g., 1G)

A few keyword searches may give a good understanding of the density

I use TextPad (again, personal bias)

Spreadsheet helps (but can’t hold large data)

Sort, simple statistics, columns selection

Database environments are good alternatives

Simple histograms help

E.g., people either return right away, or get better then return later.

Later goal: Visual analytics
